More modern ‘Living Room’ suitable nudes are on the way. The Cubist Woman series began in the late ’80s in Washington, DC. The works then made their way to Alexandria, Virginia and Bethesda, Maryland areas where the Artist exhibited, then North Carolina’s Greenville Museum of Art in 2008. Pictured here is the continuing evolution of the nude by this painter. Patrons sought nudes suitable for their living rooms, and a new genre of cubist abstraction was born in Emmett’s Studio. His works even being rented for Elite Furniture Company Showrooms from North Carolina to Scottsdale Arizona.
