The Greenville Museum of Art
Living African American Artists of North Carolina Exhibition was a group exhibition featuring four paintings by Emmett Ardie Williams including Cubist Woman, The Bass Player, Modern Mona and Still Life No. 7. Well known painters Floyd Newkirk, Van Dorn Hinnant, and James C. McMillan were also in the exhibition. He and the others were part of the African American Atelier in Greensboro, NC where most exhibited. Williams being Poster Artist of 2006. His Bass Player image was featured on it and appeared numerous times in publications in the area.
